Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
Dr. Adil Ahmed is a board-certified nephrologist dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive kidney care. He completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Ahmed currently practices with Kidney Care Associates, where he focuses on the prevention and management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and electrolyte disorders. Known for his patient-centered approach, he values clear communication and shared decision-making to help patients take an active role in their health.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ahmed is passionate about medical education and mentoring future physicians. His commitment to teaching and patient advocacy reflects his belief that excellent care begins with empathy, knowledge, and partnership.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ahmed enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his wife and children.
